St. Elizabeth

Our St. Elizabeth location is situated within St. Elizabeth school at 735 Selkirk Street South. This location only offers before and after school care and we use a shared classroom space for this program.

We are licensed for 30 total children. We can accommodate for up to 30 children before and after school at this site. This program runs before school from 7:30 AM to 9:00 AM and after school from 3:20 PM to 5:30 PM. The staff-to-child ratio in this program is 1 staff member to every 15 children.

Our St. Elizabeth site is offering both before and after school care. We are able to accommodate for children who attend St. Elizabeth school as well as by bus to and from Kingsway Park school for the 2022-2023 school year.

The Assistant Director, who also acts as the Supervisor of our St. Ann and St. Elizabeth locations is Amanda Brizard. To reach Amanda, please call (807) 473-5848 ext. 1.

We currently employ 2 regular educators at our St. Elizabeth location. We strive to hire qualified, knowledgeable educators with an educational background and experience in the field of Early Childhood Education. A knowledge of child development, an awareness of the Indigenous traditions, culture, and language is essential. Everyone at our centre works together as a team to provide a positive, responsive environment geared towards children and families.

The school age program is based on meeting the unique individual needs of the school-aged child in an informal, relaxed environment in which each child can make activity choices within a recreational atmosphere. The educator will provide stimulating, challenging, and fun experiences through creative art, science and exploration, language, and physical activities. These activities intertwine with the Indigenous culture, promoting identity, language, and culture retention for the children.
