Our St. Vincent location is situated within St. Vincent school at 150 Redwood Avenue West. We have a separate entrance and parking lot and are in a separate wing from the school that is located on the right side of the building.
We are licensed for 62 children: 6 infants, 10 toddlers, 16 preschool-aged children, and 30 school-aged children. Our school age program operates out of the school’s gymnasium from 7:30 AM to 9:00 AM before school and 3:20 PM to 5:30 PM after school.

Our Head Food Preparer, Eric Stein, is located at our St. Vincent location and all of our meals are prepared on-site. They also prepare lunch for our St. Ann location and it is transported to that centre each day.
We strive to hire qualified, knowledgeable educators with an educational background and experience in the field of Early Childhood Education. A knowledge of child development, an awareness of the Indigenous traditions, culture, and language is essential. Everyone at our centre works together as a team to provide a positive, responsive environment geared towards children and families.
Infant Program (0-18 months)
Our infant program is licensed for up to 6 infants with 2 educators. The staff-to-child ratio for infants is 1 staff member to every 3 children.
The infant program is based on developing children’s social-emotional skills through play. The routine of the program is developed with the children’s individual needs in mind. The infant educators focus heavily on music and movement activities, sensory activities, cognitive skill development, motor skills, creative art experiences, and early literacy development.

Toddler Program (18 months-2 1/2 years)
Our toddler program is licensed for up to 10 toddlers with 2 educators. The staff-to-child ratio for toddlers is 1 staff member to every 5 children.
The toddler program is based on building the childrens’ self-esteem and confidence and assisting them in developing self-help skills and independence. The children partake in individual and group activities in an engaging environment. The educators place an emphasis on setting up an appropriate environment to assist in the development of their independence and allowing them to take appropriate risks.

Preschool Program (2 1/2 years-JK)
Our preschool program is licensed for up to 16 preschoolers with 2 educators. The staff-to-child ratio for preschoolers is 1 staff member to every 8 children.
The preschool program is based on enhancing the children’s learning through play. The children participate in child-led activities both indoors and outdoors to further develop their skills. They engage in activities such as creative art experiences, early literacy activities, motor skills, and dramatic play. The educators follow the childrens’ lead, being responsive to the children’s interests and creating meaningful learning experiences.

School Age Program (JK to age 12)
Our school age program is licensed for up to 30 school aged children with 2 educators. The staff-to-child ratio for school aged children is 1 staff member to every 15 children.
The school age program is based on meeting the unique individual needs of the school-aged child in an informal, relaxed environment in which each child can make activity choices within a recreational atmosphere. The educator will provide stimulating, challenging, and fun experiences through creative art, science and exploration, language, and physical activities. These activities intertwine with the Indigenous culture, promoting identity, language, and culture retention for the children.
Our St. Vincent site will be currently offering both before and after school programming and we will be able to accept children that attend St. Vincent school as well as those that are bussed from St. Francis school.
